Located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, GrassRoots Meats provides all natural grass-finished beef and lamb, as well as free-range chicken, raised without added hormones or antibiotics. Our animals are on pasture from the day they are born to the day they are taken to the processor, a small family owned USDA plant, where they are processed in a very humane fashion. Our all natural, free range chickens are raised by a producing partner in western Colorado. We ship primarily throughout the western United States in specially insulated boxes to insure that the meat arrives still frozen, but we can also ship to anywhere within the continental United States.

Albuquerque & Denver Delivery – Our daughter Lisa will be heading for Albuquerque on February 17th and can deliver orders along the way, and I will be headed to Denver on February 23rd and will also be making deliveries. The cost is $.75 per pound, with a minimum of $25. Be sure to let us know when you place your order that you would like delivery to either Denver or Albuquerque.

i was just wondering if you could tell me more about how and where your cows are butchered….thank you.
Our animals are processed in a small, family owned plant in southern Colorado. They are on pasture up to the day they taken in for processing. They are treated very humanely and because the plant is very small they are never overcrowded or stressed.
My wife was able to have a ribeye steak sourced from Grass Roots Meats last night. She commented on how flavorful the cut was. There is a difference and highly recommend Grass Roots Meats!
