- (1 bunch, trimmed (cut into 2-inch pieces if desired)) Asparagus
- (1–2 tbsp) Olive Oil
- (3–4 tbsp, softened) Butter
- (3–4 cloves, minced) Garlic
- (1 tbsp, chopped (plus extra for garnish)) Fresh Parsley
- (1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary) Optional Herbs
- (to taste) Salt & Black Pepper
- (1 lb) Sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes

Olive Oil: 1–2 tbsp
Garlic Herb Butter Sauce
Butter: 3–4 tbsp, softened
Garlic: 3–4 cloves, minced
Fresh Parsley: 1 tbsp, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Optional Herbs: 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary
Seasonings
Salt & Black Pepper: to taste
Optional: 1 tsp smoked paprika or a pinch of red pepper flakes
Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp (optional, for finishing)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish or sheet.
Prepare Steak: Pat steak cubes dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and optional paprika.
Trim Asparagus: Wash and trim woody ends. Toss with a little olive oil and salt.
Sear Steak: Heat a skillet over high heat with olive oil. Sear steak cubes for 1–2 minutes per side until browned (don’t fully cook).
Make Garlic Butter: In a bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, and optional herbs.
Assemble Dish: Spread asparagus in the baking dish, then place seared steak on top.
Add Butter: Dollop garlic butter evenly over steak and asparagus.
Bake: Roast in the oven for 10–15 minutes until steak reaches desired doneness and asparagus is tender.
Finish: Drizzle with lemon juice if using.
Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
